In celebration of Veganuary, Comptoir V is excited to announce a series of special events and partnerships taking place throughout January.
This year, we are delighted to partner with the UK's favourite healthy recipe box service, Mindful Chef on a specially designed ‘Mindful Menu’that is available from the 14thJan – 14thFeb. The three-course tasting menu will comprise of:
Starter:Rose harissa roasted cauliflower,nutty lentils, rainbow carrots and sweet pomegranate seeds drizzled with a tahini, coriander and mint dressing.
Main:Herby falafel nestled in a rich harissa spiced tomato sauce with a scattering of flaked almonds and turmeric drizzle.
Dessert:Cardamom spiced black rice pudding with coconut yoghurt, pomegranate and pistachios.

Calling all chocoholics! 15th October marks the start of the week we’ve all been waiting for, National Chocolate Week! This year, we will be joining thousands of chocolate-lovers around the country in celebration of everyone’s favourite sweet treat.
Providing an option for vegans and those with a dairy intolerance, we will be serving a vegan three course cacao-centric menu for the entire celebratory week (15th – 21st October). The specially designed menu will include starter options of Cocoa and Beetroot Bake with Scotch Bonnet Hummous, mains of Black Bean Cocoa Infused Chilli with Guacamole and Vegan Creme Fraiche and desserts including Gooey Chocolate Hummous Sundae, Chocolate Orange 'Cheezecake' and Moroccan Pancakes with Chocolate Hummous and Caramelised Biscuit filling served with vegan vanilla ice cream. Dessert can be accompanied by a Vegan Chocolate and Tigernut Cocktail or a signature 'Hug in A Mug', a warm almond milk brewed with cocoa, maca and almond butter. All dishes can be ordered separately or part of a 3 course menu including a cocktail or superfood hot drink for £29.95.
It’s nearly that time of year – Europe’s biggest street party will return to London this August bank holiday (26th and 27th August). If you are visiting or taking part in Notting Hill Carnival this year and are looking for somewhere for to refuel so that you can party on (or to give your feet a rest!), give Comptoir V a visit.
We will be offering a special Caribbean menu available over the bank holiday weekend and for the week following, as well as Carnival tunes playing all week!
The three-course vegan menu will feature starters of Caribbean Spiced Curried Chickpeas, Ackee and Salted Jackfruit Bakeor Dynamite ‘Shrimp’, mains of ‘It’s No Jerk’ Bean Burger, Spiced Island Sweet Potato and Lentil Curryor Jerk Cauliflower with Coconut Fried Rice and Plantainand desserts of Mango and Coconut Cheesecakeor Banana and Date Crumble. The meal will be accompanied by either a Rum Cooler or a freshly squeezed juice.
The Carnival menu will cost £24.95 and be available from 24th– 31stAugust. Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

On Sunday 13th May, Comptoir V joined millions around the world celebrating their love for that versatile and delicious dip, hummus! On International Hummus Day and in the week leading up to it, Comptoir V served a three course hummus-based menu, including a starter of a Trio of Hummus Dips, mains of Barbecued Mushroom ‘Ribs’ with Hummus Infused Mash or a Sweet Potato Falafel and Avocado Hummus Burger, and desserts including Hummus Blondies and Hummus Cookie Dough Cheesecake.
Comptoir V showed its appreciation for all the special ladies in our lives this Mother’s Day, by introducing a couple of fantastic offers to treat those amazing mums! On Mother's Day 2018, mums could dine for free when in a group of four or more. Alternatively, for those planning a more intimate meal, all mums enjoyed a complimentary dessert!
Easter egg hunts are so last year! For a more unique experience this Easter, we held a series of workshops for adults and kids alike!
On Good Friday (Friday 30th March), we held a choc-tastic vegan Easter egg making workshop in conjunction with Nature’s Charm.
For parents looking to entertain their kids over the Easter holidays, Comptoir V offered the perfect solution, with a series of Spring craft activities taking place from 3rd-6th April. Kids enjoyed making collages, creating bead models, decorating bunny ornaments and more, all followed by a two course lunch for them and their adult companion!
On Shrove Tuesday, Comptoir V offered a delicious selection of multi-coloured sweet and savoury pancakes for you to flip out over, and what’s more, they were all vegan!
Vegans and non-vegans alike loved the unique and delicious flavours on offer, which included Moroccan Smoked Aubergine Zaalock and Sauteed Spinach on a bed of Beetroot Hummus, or Trinidadian Chickpea Curry with Plantain. Being the only day of the year that it is totally acceptable to have a pancake for every course, guests could end with with a delicious Vegan ‘Nutella’ , Banana and crushed Nuts on a Matcha pancake giving it a green colour or ‘The Pink Pancake’ - coloured with beetroot and served with flaked coconut, berries and layers of banana caramel.
